Spots are limited by bench space.
What to expect
Join us for a fun and creative activity in the greenhouses that reminds you spring is just around the corner. You build your own container, we supply everything, and our staff walks the benches with you making suggestions.
No experience required. Most people who come have never planted a container from scratch. That is the point.
Two formats
You plant it, we keep it. Your container stays with us in the greenhouse, fertilized and protected from the cold, until it is full and ready for the weather. Pick it up when it is at its best.
Best for spring containers planted before the frost date.
You plant it, you carry it home the same night. Good for later spring classes, succulents, and every Christmas evergreen class.
You are welcome to bring a container or basket from home.
April & May
Spring classes run in April and May. You get a container, soil, and your choice of plants, and staff help you put together something you will be happy to look at all summer.
Past spring workshops have included a container planting workshop (a 13 inch container, soil, and your choice of seven plants) and a succulent workshop (a glazed container, soil, your choice of four succulents, and decorative stone on top).
November & December
Come join us for a time of relaxation, fun, and creativity. Bring family and friends or come by yourself.
Create your own evergreen container or hanging basket with fresh-cut boughs to decorate your home, your business, or to give away. Multiple dates and times are available in November and December.
Private parties are also available. Book the greenhouse for your group, your staff, or your family.
